Once again the view from the tee is deceptive, for it is not immediately apparent just how narrow the fairway is at the range of a good drive. There are two bunkers on the left, but only one of them is visible from the tee and the second of them eats into the fairway seriously where rough also encroaches from the right. There is plenty of room for shorter drivers but they will be left with a long approach shot to a green that is hard to hit and hold. Trees overhang the fairway on the right, short of the green and, with the green offset to the right, the position of the two green-front bunkers makes for a very tight entrance. It is difficult to get near a pin on the right and a steep drop off behind means that this is another green not to overshoot.
