THE 17th HOLE (334 yards par 4)

On paper this is only a drive-and-pitch hole, but in reality for many there is little room to drive, with a succession of bunkers effectively blocking off the whole of the fairway between about 200 and 260 yards out from the tee. However, a mid-iron for position will suffice to set up a short-iron shot to the green which is bunkered on the right but not the left.
