Out-of-bounds is the main threat on this short, but tricky par 4. The fairway slopes to the right, towards the out-of-bounds, and when the fairway is firm in summer it is imperative to keep the ball on the left. There is no merit in flirting with the bunker on the right, for if the ball does not end up in the sand it will almost certainly career beyond the white posts. An iron for position off the tee still leaves only a short-iron shot to the raised green, well bunkered to either side. With the out-of-bounds close in behind the green this is not a green to overshoot.
