This is surely one of the best par 3s in Cheshire. Everything is visible from the tee, not least the white posts marking the out-of-bounds which again threatens on the right, continuing all the way round the back of the green. Trees around the tee shelter the golfer from the wind, but a gap further on exposes the ball to its full force, funnelled down the 9th fairway. The ground slopes from left to right, towards the out-of-bounds, and there is a severe left-to-right slope on the green, with many slippery putts in high summer.
