Although the tee shot is slightly blind it is quite obvious where to drive, ideally on the line of or slightly to the left of a distant electricity pylon. Those aspiring to reach the green in two must fly their second shots over a prominent bunker set in a bank, behind which the green is secreted. In fact the fairway and green are angled away to the left and there is a general left-to-right slope to the ground, so many weak approaches run off the fairway into one or other bunker on the right. The putting surface is reasonably flat but it is long and narrow and pins placed at the back are hard to access.
