Opportunities for Full Membership for Gentleman and Ladies occur throughout the year and any potential applicant should in the first instance contact the Secretary John Bolt on 0161 427 8369 or by e-mail johnbolt@stockportgolf.co.uk, or his assistant Jayne Scowen, e-mail info@stockportgolf.co.uk, who can provide advice.

Please note joining Stockport Golf Club is subject to an Entrance Fee and Annual Subscription on a sliding scale which is designed to attract and retain younger members.

The Committee recently undertook a complete review of all membership rates to encourage new Gentlemen, Lady and Family Members of all ages. The graded subscriptions also reflect consideration towards equality and the future of golf at Stockport Golf Club.

A feature of membership is our tradition of holding regular “presentations” directly after the close of all competitions. These weekly occasions are very well supported by members and enhance amongst each other, friendship and fellowship.

Another fine tradition is the members bar, named the “Kinsey” Bar after member Bill Kinsey, whose picture is positioned in pride of place. The bar and verandah directly overlooks the 16th and 18th Greens and 17th Tee, and offers a truly spectacular vista of the course. Indeed after a round of golf, there is no better place to be.
