In 2018 the Club will host the Stockport Salver for the fourth year.
This event runs in conjunction with the Wilmslow Crow. Together the two events form the prestigious Cheshire Cat.
The Cat is a World Amateur Golf Ranking event, played over 72 holes, with each individual competition being a 36 hole scratch strokeplay. Apart from World Amateur Ranking points being available to each player competing in the Cat, qualification for the Galvin Green Northern Order of Merit, and also the Cheshire Order of Merit is available from both 36 hole competitions.
The Salver will take place on Thursday 19th July 2018 (1st Tee 7.00 am) and will, once again, attract a top quality amateur field.
